Erin Patton is an Analyst at The Wicks Group. Erin’s work is focused primarily on assisting foreign civil aviation authorities (CAAs) with meeting ICAO Annex 1, 6, and 8 standards and recommended practices for aviation safety oversight and monitoring. Specific examples of her experience include developing and facilitating aviation safety inspector training programs for the Bahrain and Angola CAAs and editing inspector guidance materials for those CAAs. Erin also routinely provides research and analytic assistance to TWG senior legal and consulting professionals on a wide range of aviation-related topics.
Erin holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Service from American University, School of International Service (SIS), where she concentrated in Peace, Conflict, and Global Security and National Security in the Middle East. Her expertise is in qualitative research and strategic communications. During her time at AU, she worked as an Arabic Language Intern for an international NGO focusing on gender equality in Amman, Jordan, and interned for a DC-based nonprofit which supports programs taught in universities to create innovative solutions to national security issues. Additionally, Erin served as Chief Intern at the U.S. Agency for Global Media, Office of Business Development, where she assisted on several projects relating to providing resources for refugees in Africa and the Middle East.
