The Wicks Group (TWG) is pleased to announce that Erin Patton has rejoined the firm as a Senior Analyst and Consultant. Erin primarily supports TWG’s consulting engagements with foreign civil aviation authorities (CAAs) that focus on improving aviation safety oversight and preparing a CAAs audits of their international aviation safety standards compliance as assessed by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) and U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
In a previous position with TWG, Erin supported aviation safety technical assistance projects in the Middle East and Western Africa. Her work included analysis, technical writing, and technical training support to assist the Bahrain and Angola CAAs with strengthening their compliance with international safety standards set forth in ICAO Annexes 1, 6, and 8. She also provided direct support to the Angola CAA in its preparations for an ICAO audit that resulted in audit performance exceeding the regional average and supported compliance work in Azerbaijan.
Erin also has professional experience in business development and proposal coordination for a federal contractor that provides monitoring, evaluation, and knowledge management services, and in program management for a New York State loan guarantee program for small businesses. Her work for the loan guarantee program included marketing the program, ensuring participant compliance with related federal funding and program requirements, analyzing program data, and preparing program reports.
Erin holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Service from American University’s School of International Service, with concentrations in Peace, Conflict, and Global Security and National Security in the Middle East. She has a working proficiency in Arabic.
