BARRY VALENTINE
Senior Advisor
Barry Valentine is a Senior Advisor at The Wicks Group. He works in senior roles on our inter-
national consulting and technical document projects. He also serves as an expert witness in pre-litigation matters. Mr. Valentine has more than 40 years of aviation experience, encompassing several senior positions in government and industry.
Prior to joining The Wicks Group, Barry served as the FAA Administrator (Acting) and FAA Assistant Administrator for Policy, Planning, and International Aviation; Director of the Portland (Maine) International Jetport; and Senior Vice President for International Affairs for the General Aviation Manufacturers Association. He has served on the Board of Governors of the Aero Club of Washington and is currently a member of the Board of Directors of the Experimental Aircraft Association and the Advisory Board of Women in Aviation International. |
Representative Experience
• Represented U.S. Government and industry in numerous international forums, including ICAO, JAA, ECAC, and EASA
• Served as Assistant Project Manager for several FAA policy and procedural manual development/improvement projects
• Served as expert witness in pre-trial litigation for a major aircraft manufacturer
• Provided expert advice and consultation to Republic of Azerbaijan civil aviation authority on compliance with international safety standards |
