RONCEVERT (RONCE) ALMOND
Associate
Roncevert Almond is an Associate at The Wicks Group. His practice encompasses both regulatory and commercial legal work as well as international aviation consulting. Ronce regularly assists clients with licensing, certification, and enforcement matters involving the Department of Transportation and the Federal Aviation Administration and other federal agencies; drafts service agreements and documents in support of commercial transactions; and works on consulting projects in Europe and the Middle East.
Prior to joining The Wicks Group, Ronce worked with the United Nations Special Court for Sierra Leone and participated in both the Duke-Geneva Institute for Transnational Law and the Oxford-GW Human Rights Law Program. Ronce also has been involved in the U.S. political process, including working for Congressional members, state parties and two presidential campaigns. His published work includes articles in journals such as Hazmat Packager & Shipper. |
Representative Experience
• Counseled U.S. network of fixed base operators in commercial dealings including fueling and line services, ground transportation, hangar and ramp space
• Reviewed draft policy and procedural manuals for Federal Aviation Administration to ensure ISO9001 compliance
• Assisted first privately-financed and operated commercial airport in the U.S. in negotiating commercial agreements and providing strategic regulatory advice
• Participated in the negotiation of a complex transaction involving a major global cargo carrier, European manufacturer, and U.S. aerospace company
• Represented U.S. and United Nations contractors in procurement matters and contract disputes
• Advised foreign civil aviation authority in the Middle East on compliance with ICAO standards |
